Shortly after the sale of 75m NB 69, Turquoise Yachts is thrilled to announce the sale of 53 metre Tala of which the construction is well underway at Kocaeli shipyard. With hull and superstructure completed and interior work in process, she is taking form. Her exterior styling is by Miami-based studio DeBasto Designs and her interior is by London based H2 Yacht Design.
Turquoise Yachts is pleased to announce the sale of new 53-metre Project Tala.
Large interior & exterior volumes have become one of Turquoise’s signature capabilities, and Tala is no exception. At 720 GT, Tala offers a fantastic amount of interior and exterior space commensurate with yachts that are usually much larger. She offers 8 + 1 guest staterooms, while the exterior deck areas are spacious and designed for entertainment of both big groups and for intimate gatherings of 2 to 4 people. “No one will feel lost,” says Luiz DeBasto. The Sun Deck offers around-the-clock entertainment with a hot tub, sun-pads, TV, day head, bar, BBQ and acres of open space. As such, Tala is a terrific yacht for extended periods of residence.
“With Tala’s enormous volume … my objective was to make the exterior less bulky and give a feeling of a forward dynamic movement, rather than a static feel,” says Luiz DeBasto. “I wanted the design to show movement and purpose from any angle.
I achieved this with the long ascending line from the swim platform all the way up to the mast and down to the pilothouse windshield.”
Some of Tala’s highlights include a substantial swim platform that make it easy for ingress and egress from tenders. The Owner's stateroom and VIP suite are forward on Main Deck.
Traffic circulation between guests and crew are completely separated on all decks, including discreet access on Lower Deck between the Laundry and the Guest's area. Crew accommodations for 10 are on the lower deck and there is a Captain's cabin on the Upper Deck next to the pilothouse.
H2 Yacht Design will be responsible for the stunning interior decoration.
Mr. Horsfield of H2 Yacht Design states “The interior of Tala is set to reveal the diversity of our design studio’s abilities with the client opting for a rich traditional style with a colourful combination of classic details, burl veneers, marble flooring , and the interior will be lavishly embellished with gold highlights.”
Tala is scheduled to be delivered in March 2022.
